The Act makes important changes to the definition of the term "disability" by rejecting the holdings in several Supreme Court decisions and portions of EEOC's ADA regulations. The effect of these changes is to make it easier for an individual seeking protection under the ADA to establish that he or she has a disability within the meaning of the ADA. Stein Vending is proud to have joined forces with the Helmets to Hardhats program. This is a joint effort to help connect National Guard, Reserve, retired and transitioning active-duty military veterans with productive careers in the vending industry.Apprenticeship training is available to anyone who is interested; many may even receive credit based on their military occupation, training and experience. Stein Vending also supports its current members when they are called up to active duty by waiving their dues and keeping them on the rolls until their return.
